MICHIGAN CUP UPDATE
The first official Michigan Cup races for individual points took place this weekend - the REI Frosty Freestyle and the Krazy Klassic at Huron Meadows Metropark in Brighton. Whoda thunk that there would be enough snow to run a race, but the man-made snow held up despite the rainy conditions before the race.
Congratulations to John O’Hearn who won the Men’s Frosty Freestyle, triumphing over 2nd place winner, father-in-law Milan Baic! Glenn Goodman was 6th (1st in age group), Cliff Onthank was 9th (1st in age group), and Gary Faria was 66th (3rd in age group). Congratulations!
Milan got his revenge on Sunday at the Krazy Classic, taking 1st place. John was 2nd, Cliff was 4th and Glenn was 5th. Glenn reported that it was a good race, and asked where were all his teammates!
